For a fun way to review The Still Small Voice<\/a> (archives) in singing time this month, solve this The Still Small Voice Crossword Puzzle!<\/strong> Work together during primary to fill in the word blanks using simple clues. The best part of this puzzle? ALL the words in the puzzle come directly from the song!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Focus on key words in the song by decoding puzzle clues and completing this crossword puzzle with 10 word from the song lyrics!<\/p>\n\n\n This word game (archives)<\/a> is especially great for Senior primary children, but it can also be easily adapted to work for younger primary kids as well. Your primary kids will have so much fun trying to decode the clues and solve the puzzle together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’ve created a simple crossword puzzle with 10 clues from the song lyrics for a fun way to review this song. You can find this printable puzzle, along with word clues later in this post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Before primary, print out a copy of the crossword puzzle, key, and clues. You\u2019ll want to have some writing utensils as well. Crayons, markers, or pencils will all work wonderfully for this activity!<\/p>\n\n\n Start by reviewing The Still Small Voice (flip chart here)<\/a> at the beginning of singing time. Then, post the crossword puzzle on the board, keeping the key tucked away for reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Choose a volunteer to pick a number and a direction. Have the children listen as you read aloud the clue for that word. Can anyone think of the correct word? Once they guess the right word, have the child come up and fill in those blanks in the puzzle.<\/p>\n\n\n Continue solving for words in the puzzle one at a time. It may be helpful to sing through the song every few rounds to help spark some ideas. The kids might even catch on that the words are directly from the song!<\/p>\n\n\n\n If needed, feel free to provide additional hints to help the kids solve the puzzle. Finish by singing through the song once more after you solve the puzzle! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Keep scrolling for additional ways to use this activity!
