For this spiritual connection idea, simply begin by choosing a short video about families. I’ve included a few of my favorites below. Once you’ve selected a video, be sure to come to the primary room a little early to set up all your technology. If I’m using a video at church, I like to play it through once before to make sure it will work!
Then, begin singing time by telling the children that you’ll be watching a video about families. If you have already started teaching this song and want to start with a quick run-through of the song, go for it! This can be a nice way to set the tone singing time.
Invite the children to notice how they feel during the video and remind them to be reverent. After the video, ask for a few volunteers to share anything they felt or noticed during the video.
